We're looking for a React Native Engineer. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, Right Balance provides top-tier technology talent for innovative companies in the US. We’re in the top 50 companies to watch in LA.

Engagement Details

Our client helps investors get exposure to fine wine and whiskey as an asset class. With a team of industry-leading experts and an advanced proprietary algorithm, we're revolutionizing how we invest in fine wine and whiskey.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the mobile app development by keeping the app updated with the latest features, libraries, dependencies, and best practices providing a great mobile user experience.

The current app is written in React Native. We're in the process of migrating it to use Expo. Completing Expo migration will be the first step for this engagement.

It's initially a 4+ months project with an opportunity of extension long term.

Required Qualifications

• Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
• 5+ years of full-time hands-on React Native experience.
• 4+ years of full-time hands-on Mobile Development experience.
• Expo experience.

Nice to haves

• Native module development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
