Our client is a USA-based company producing video solutions with the mission to advance scientific research and education. The institutional clients comprise over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders as Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, they are seeking talented individuals to join their company.
Role: We are looking for an amazing Senior Fullstack Engineer to work in a high-growth company with good career opportunities and the latest cutting-edge technology (Machine Learning, AI, AR).
What will you do:
- Perform all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications, including design, hands-on engineering, developing framework & tooling including prototypes, code review, mentoring engineering peers, and owning and driving transformation with various technology domains.
- Function as an engineering leader on an agile team to build scalable software solutions through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation).
- Lead code reviews and manage Pull Requests reviews.
- Lead and contribute towards engineering excellence in areas like automated unit testing.
- Work closely with product owners in defining the product and engineering roadmap. Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation.
- Lead the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across development and production environments.
- Assist in automating deployments to development and other environments.
- Work to ensure all applications can scale and attempt to develop self-healing solutions.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal leadership and drive the team to be self-reliant in achieving team goals.
- Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging the status quo.

Required Qualifications
- Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
- 5+ years of full-time hands-on Software Development experience in web application frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, React, or similar.
- 3+ years of full-time hands-on React.js experience.
- 2+ years of full-time hands-on Back-end Development with PHP, like Laravrel, Codeigniter, Symfony experience.
- 2+ years of full-time hands-on SQL (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, AuroraDB) experience.
- Expert-level understanding and implementation of cloud-native architectures (AWS serverless or containers preferred) at scale in production
- Demonstrated understanding and implementation of software design principles such as SOLID and DRY with Software as a Service (SaaS), multi-tenancy application development
- Embraces the concepts of Agile Scrum software development and its related collaboration and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally)
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) model, including GitHub and CI pipeline automation tools
- Ability to triage and resolve incidents and lead incident investigations.
- Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason.
- Experience working in a 24/7 on-call, highly transactional or streaming production environment.
- Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs, external frameworks, and libraries
- Experience with data-driven architecture and systems design, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.

- Node.js backend experience
- Building Kubernetes Operator is a plus.
- GraphQL experience
- Some NoSQL experience
- Experience working as a technical team lead in a squad
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
