The Client
We're a technology, data, and performance driven portfolio of SaaS subscription and content companies. Our founders have built, acquired, scaled, and sold several SaaS and content businesses, and have added many portfolio companies.
Under our current umbrella are multiple social media growth SaaS businesses, a technology driven dating platform, a B2B Wi-Fi marketing platform, ad-driven content sites, and several more to come. We utilize a combination of paid media (Facebook Ads, Google Ads), organic search / SEO strategy, funnel optimization / CRO, and product design to scale user acquisition and maximize retention across the portfolio.
The Role
We're looking for a full-time, remote Data Analyst to join our operations team, supporting our analytics & data engineering initiatives. As a data analyst on the operations team, you will work as a part of cross-functional business and technical teams alongside other data analysts, business leaders, data/BI engineers and other team members to deliver impactful business intelligence and data warehouse solutions. The right candidate has a deep understanding of analytics and excels at extracting insights that drive product enhancements. Your expertise in dissecting subscription-based and product data from diverse sources will play a pivotal role in shaping our operational roadmap and optimizing the effectiveness of our portfolio companies. Beyond your analytical skills, we value your ability to develop reporting solutions from start to finish: including pipeline development and data modeling, dash boarding, and KPI development.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analyses of data to derive actionable insights. Generate reports on operations metrics, product usage, customer behavior, and other performance metrics to enhance decision-making processes.
Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and trends to stakeholders. Use tools like Preset and BigQuery to present data in an easily understandable and actionable format.
Evaluate the performance of existing operations and product features through data analysis. Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for feature enhancements based on user feedback, usage patterns, and market trends.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines from raw data sources to final reporting while maintaining a commitment to robust data quality standards.
Partner with teams to design and execute A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of changes to the product.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and product management

Required Qualifications
- Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
- 2+ years of full-time hands-on Data Analytics experience.
- 2+ years of full-time hands-on SQL experience.
- Mastery of SQL and a strong understanding of data relationships / relational databases.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or another programming language.
- Proven skills in A/B testing, experiment set-up, and analysis.
- Expertise using data insights to drive business and operational goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to haves
- Experience working in a subscription-based company.
- Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or another Business Intelligence tool expertise.
- Practical experience developing and maintaining complex ETL pipelines.
- Experience with DBT, Cloud Composer, Preset.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
