We're a USA-based company producing video solutions with the mission to advance scientific research and education. Our institutional clients comprise over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders as Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented individuals to join our company. You'll have a tremendous impact on the bottom line of the business. A lot of our traffic is organic, and our SEO needs to be spot-on. You'll oversee all aspects of SEO for all of our products and domains. As the Sr. SEO Manager, you'll work across all teams to develop and implement strategies to improve online visibility, rankings, conversions, and ROI by optimizing our content and website structure. We're an established company and have been in the market for 17+ years. Now, we need you to take it to the next level.
What you'll do:
- Develop a holistic SEO strategy that grows organic search traffic and conversions and aligns with the overall company goals and priorities; execute the roadmap; and track performance.
- Proactively test, analyze, and make changes to product domains to ensure they are optimized for search engines and rank higher in the search results on major search engines (e.g., Google, Google Scholar, Bing).
- Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Contribute SEO expertise to the overall website strategy and collaborate with other departments within the company, such as Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Technology, and Product, to ensure content and overall Information Architecture drive relevant traffic by meeting search intent.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to implement SEO-friendly technical changes (e.g., optimize for Web Vitals, add appropriate schema).
- Define, tune, execute, and capitalize on content gaps with our competitors, content growth, and content optimization opportunities.
- Keep ahead of the newest SEO strategies, techniques, and best practices to improve our SEO strategies continuously.
- Discover link opportunities through competitive backlink research via tools such as Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, Open Site Explorer, and SEM Rush.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators such as indexing, rankings, backlinks, and SERP click-through rates.

Required Qualifications
- Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
- 8+ years of full-time hands-on SEO experience.
- 3+ years of full-time hands-on SEO Manager/Lead experience.
- High level of attention to detail and extreme focus on quality of results (essential).
- Strong SEO knowledge and the ability to translate complex topics for a non-technical audience.
- Experience analyzing data, finding insights, and presenting findings to internal and/or external stakeholders, including at the executive level.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets.
- Experience with SEO and website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Lighthouse, Pagespeed Insight, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to keep current with trends and technological advancements in SEO, UI/UX, Google algorithm updates, etc.
- Ability to manage time and organize projects; works well under pressure and can meet strict deadlines.
- Experience interacting with customers, senior executives, and business leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through to ensure timely completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult on projects and present information effectively.
- Knowledge of conversion optimization principles and techniques.
Nice to haves
- Experience with Ed-Tech, Journal, and Research market-specific search engines such as Google Scholar, Google Books, Web of Science, Scopus, Paperpile, etc.
- Previous experience with SEM and social media marketing is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
